UK Delivery Cost and Timescales

Free UK delivery for orders over £70.

UK delivery is £7.99 for orders up to £70.

Delivery is using a standard tracked service. Once despatched, delivery is typically two working days.

Overseas UK Delivery Cost and Timescales

Overseas deliveries are charged at a fixed rate:

Europe: £17

Rest of the World: £25

Delivery services can vary, depending on your delivery country and the item(s) you order.

Please allow the following delivery times:

Europe: 3-7 working days

Rest of the World: 6-12 working days, or more depending on country and customs.

Customs charges: Any customs charges for deliveries outside the UK are your responsibility. We do not charge any sales tax on overseas orders. We have no control over any customs charges, they are administered by customs authorities in your own country.

Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will promptly receive an email informing you that it has been dispatched, this email will contain your courier and tracking information. Tracking information may not update until later in the evening of despatch or the next working day. Please allow for this when attempting to track your delivery.

Delivery Terms and Conditions

Time of delivery as indicated above cannot be guaranteed.

While we make every effort to meet the delivery times provided, factors beyond our control may sometimes impact delivery times and therefore cannot be guaranteed. If an unexpected delay occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to terminate any order where we find our carriers are unable to deliver as part of our agreed standard contract terms.

Lost Parcels

UK: We will only refund/redespatch UK orders that have not been received 15 working days after dispatch, once we receive and accept evidence and/or agreement from the carrier that your parcel has been lost.

OVERSEAS: We will only refund/redespatch overseas orders that have not been received 20 working days after dispatch, once we receive and accept evidence and/or agreement from the carrier that your parcel has been lost.

Returns

Unwanted Item Returns

If an item is 'as new' and has not been used or fitted in any way, you can return it to us by post within 90 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Please ensure that the goods are returned in their original packaging and are in an unused condition. Please note that unless an item is faulty, your postage charges will not be refunded. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

How To Return An Item

You can raise a return by contacting us at support@lucandesign.co.uk . At a minimum, we will need to know your full name, order number, contact email, and reason for return.

Post the parcel to us via your preferred courier. We recommend that you return the item via a recorded delivery service to cover yourself against any loss.

Once we receive your items, we aim to complete your return within 5 working days. Once processed, we will contact you via email to confirm your exchange, or refund.

PLEASE NOTE

Items for return must be posted to us. We are unable to process in-person returns at our address, and any in-person return will not be accepted. The above address is not a store, and is not open to the public.

Exchanges

We can only exchange like-for-like products. This means a product in a different size or colour (subject to selling price and availability). If you would like a completely different item, please return the item for a full refund and place a new order online.

Items returned without sufficient order details or in a used condition may also take longer to process. If you have fitted, or attempted to fit, a motorcycle component, we cannot accept it's return.

We cannot refund you for the return postage if you have ordered incorrectly or are returning unwanted items.

Incorrect, Damaged or Faulty Item Returns

We will happily exchange or refund any product that has been sent in error.

Where an error has been made by us, and you have received items that were not ordered, we will replace these as quickly as possible, once the incorrect item has been returned to us.

Any shortages or errors must be notified within 30 days of receiving the goods.

We will refund the return postage cost on all incorrect, damaged or faulty items up to a maximum value of £25. If the postage will cost more than £25, please contact us at support@lucandesign.co.uk, and we will arrange to collect the item.

Incorrect, damaged or faulty items must be returned unused / unfitted and with all accompanying packaging.

Products not Manufactured by Lucan

Some items will have to be returned to the manufacturer/distributor for inspection and/or repair, this may extend the returns period, but we will keep you informed on progress. We cannot refund postage on warranty returns whereby the warranty has been declined. Returns processed under warranty will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer/distributor's discretion.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Please follow the applicable returns procedure detailed on this page. You must ensure to mark the package as 'RETURNED GOODS – FAILED SALE'. Failure to include this may result in the package being refused at UK Customs and returned to you.

If you have paid import duty on a returned order, you should be able to claim back a refund of the duties paid from your local Customs Authority. You will need to show the Customs Authority proof of duty paid when you received the order and proof of export – this is your proof of returning the order to us.

If items are returned to Lucan Design by a customs authority due to unpaid charges by the customer. We will refund the customer for the product less any customs costs incurred by Lucan Design due to the unpaid charges.

Refunds

When requesting a refund, items must be returned in their original packaging and in unused condition. If you have fitted, or attempted to fit, a motorcycle component, we cannot accept it's return.

Used items that you found to be faulty must be returned in a clean condition, any items deemed as unfit for return may be refused, and you may be liable for any postage costs to return the item.

Items must be returned within 90 days of delivery date.

Where a refund is processed, it will be applied to the original payment source. Please allow up to 10 working days for your refund to show in your bank account once it has been processed. Delays to this timescale may occur due to circumstances outwith our control.

If an item is returned that was part of a discount or promotion, the discount will be deducted from your refund

We reserve the right to reject any returned items not in accordance with our returns policy. You would be liable for the return postage of the items back to you in this instance. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

We want to ensure your experience with us is positive. We understand that you have a choice of parts available to you, and we appreciate that you have chosen Lucan design.

Under distance selling regulations, a customer is allowed to return an item if they simply change their mind. A customer has the right to cancel at any time from the moment they place their online or mail order, and up to 14 days from the day they receive the goods. The customer then has a further 14 days from the date they notify the retailer of their cancellation to return the goods. Please note that personalised goods are not covered by this regulation.
